Quad Differential Pulse Driver Module (PD)
The Quad Differential Pulse Driver provides four differential drivers to the DUT.
The Quad Differential Pulse Driver module for the PTH provides up to four balanced drivers for
stimulating differential digital DUT inputs. For stimulating singleended DUT inputs, the four
balanced channels may also be used as eight unbalanced (single-ended) drivers.
The Pulse Driver module is particularly useful as a stimulus for bus drivers, buffers, and
other interface devices which are specified extensively for their dynamic characteristics
such as propagation delay, risetime, and falltime. The independent control provided for both
offset voltage (common mode voltage) and logic swing (normal mode voltage) makes this module
particularly accurate for testing devices with differential inputs.
The Quad Differential Pulse Driver module has the following features:
- 4 balanced channels, 8 unbalanced channels
- 20 V p-p swing, satisfying requirements of major bus interface devices
- independent control of offset voltage and logic swing
- wideband current mode amplifiers that providing fast risetime regardless of swing
- ability to be synchronized to the system Sync Bus
