The TMU Front End Module eliminates the need to build and program switching networks that connect multiple DUT outputs to the Time Measurement Unit.

The TMU Front End module provides programmable, buffered connections between the DUT and the TMU A / TMU B input lines on the PTH Motherboard (which are sent back to the Tester Mainframe TMU on 50 ohm cables).

The TMU Front End module also provides programmable attenuation suitable for input signals up to ±200 V.

The TMU Front End has two 8:1 multiplexers. One for connecting 1 of 8 DUT pins to TMU A; the other for connecting 1 of 8 DUT pins to TMU B. The TMU Front End inputs are referenced as TMUFEInput1–16, where 1–8 are understood to apply only to TMU A, while 9–16 apply only to TMU B.
